By rail, Palencia and Venta de Baños connect with Madrid, León, Asturias, Burgos and Santander.

Valladolid airport, at Villanubla, is the closest to Palencia, but its range of flights is limited and changes with the season. It is worth checking the flight; for most destinations people fly from Barajas or Santander.

Tip: If you live in the south of the province and cannot find a train from Palencia at your time, compare with Valladolid: it has more services to Madrid and is close by on the A-62.
