Baltanás to Aeropuerto Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas transfer

The journey

The transfer from Baltanás (Palencia) to Aeropuerto Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas covers around 207.1 kilometres and takes about 154 minutes. We collect you at the address you give us and drop you exactly at your destination, with no changes and no waiting.

Leaving from El Cerrato

El Cerrato, south-east of the capital, is an area of high moors and valleys whose towns are closely tied to Palencia and Valladolid. Villamuriel works almost as a suburb of the capital, Venta de Baños is a historic railway junction and Dueñas sits beside the A-62, halfway to Valladolid.

Which way it goes

From El Cerrato the route joins the A-62 towards Valladolid and continues to Madrid on the A-601 and AP-6 or on the A-6. For Barajas, on reaching Madrid it joins the M-40 or M-50.

Aeropuerto Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas, seen from Palencia

Barajas is the airport with the most flights within reach of Palencia province. There is no direct train from Palencia to the terminal: you have to change in Madrid, and for first-thing flights a car from home is the most reliable option.

On arrival: Madrid capital

The capital holds the stations, hospitals, trade fairs and most of the region's hotels. The pre-booked trips requested from here are those that leave the municipality: day trips, business transfers to neighbouring provinces and leisure in the southern metro area.

Tip: If you are a pilgrim needing to skip a stage, give the hostel or exact spot on the Camino for pickup and how many backpacks you have.

Airport pickup

For arrivals, the driver waits in the terminal with a name sign and helps with your luggage. We track the flight number, so a delay costs nothing extra within the terminal’s complimentary waiting time.

For early flights

We recommend leaving Baltanás at least 199 minutes before you want to be at the check-in desk. We operate through the night, always with an advance booking.

What the price includes

• Door-to-door pickup and help with luggage.
• Complimentary waiting and flight or train tracking.
• Child restraint systems if you need them.
• The 10 % Spanish VAT on passenger transport.

Tolls and parking, where the route requires them, are itemised in the quote and charged to the customer, with one exception: for airport destinations, if traffic calls for it, the route along the radial toll motorways is included at no cost provided there are at least 3 hours between pickup and the flight's departure. With less margin, that toll is itemised in the quote like any other. There are no hidden charges: any supplement is shown in the quote before you confirm.
